Our main focus for the trip was to visit the Dig Tree. It wasn't until we drove to Innamincka that we saw the Burke's Grave sign, so we decided to visit that site also.
It was a lovely 300-metre walk from the car-park, along the creek to grave site. There were many signs along the way, detailing traditional foods and practices of the local people.
I had a quick, unsuccessful look for my tripod prior to setting off down the track - so our group shots were taken with the camera balanced on a tree branch, with the memorial just out of view!
