The main street of Quilpie is a divided road and there are cow and sheep sculptures along the centre strip. We particularly liked these wool-bale sheep, just across from the park gate.
After lunch we stopped near the Quilpie library to use the public loos.
There was a large section of engraved pavers along the footpath, beside where Elmer was parked. It was interesting to read some of the inscriptions.
(The library was closed for lunch, otherwise we would have peeked in there also)!
