Rocket science ...

After all the excitement of this morning's snake capture and later release, Nick and Vaughan worked on calmly assembling our second rocket. 

Unlike yesterday's (plastic) black rocket, this one is a cardboard tube with balsa wood fins. 

Once the glue has properly dried, Vaughan will be in charge of painting our smaller rocket. 

This one is supposed to reach more than twice the height of our first. Those flights were so impressive! We're looking forward to seeing our next rocket in action!
