Centenary commemoration ...

Soon after our arrival, we learned that our small celebration for the bore's 100th birthday "caused quite a stir".

A far more official, albeit belated, commemoration occurred on a year later on Australia Day, 2012.


A tree was planted and some new signage installed.  (I have googled but can't find any photos or write-up of the event).
