And we didn't, really - cos Vaughan's catch is actually a Centralian Blue-tongue. They are very similar in appearance though the central species has orange-brown bands. Usually we see bearded dragons and the occasional shingleback on the roads around Yowah, so we were quite chuffed to spot this fellow - and his "tunk"!

After taking some photos the lizard was released on the side of the road (in the direction it had been heading) and we drove onward.
