The sun was sinking as we rounded up Vaughan, who was very reluctant to abandon his goat-chasing efforts!
We drove down from the Bluff, following the rough power line track. Nick, Vaughan and I had driven the same route on our last visit to Yowah.
Vaughan insisted we stop so he could inspect several small termite mounds along the way, some of which had very interesting rounded towers on top making them look (vaguely) like fairy castles!
We stopped at the same rise as previously and Vaughan bounded ahead, exclaiming that he remembered the caves. They were home to many wasps on our last visit but this time only showed evidence of providing shelter to goats.
I took a couple of group shots in the last of the evening light. We were battling mozzies though, so cut short our sight-seeing and rejoined Elmer, to retrace our wheel tracks back to the Bluff (and then "home" again)!
