Given the rain we'd had shortly after arriving at Yowah and a bit more since, we were expecting good things of Lake Bindegolly.
We were quite disappointed. On our most recent visit, there was water up to the causeway. We could see the supporting stonework this time.
Vaughan climbed down to look at some animal bones on the dry mud. There was a group of cows wandering along the lake bed, a bit further away from us. There were groups of birds also but nowhere near as many as we had previously seen. Of course, we still didn't tackle the 9km walk!
After a quick look around, we continued driving to Thargomindah. We could see Lake Bindegolly water in the distance but it was too far away to see if there were birds as well.
