Splendid stripes!

We went out frogging again tonight.  I'm sure the locals wonder what we are up to. 

(We actually passed a fellow striding along the streets with an axe handle over his shoulder but we didn't like to think what he was up to)!



Vaughan bounded out of the car at various points to catch several different frogs.  We brought them home for inspection under better light.  This large fellow is a favourite.  He/she has been identified as a Striped Burrowing Frog.  (Vaughan found one in the bore-drain over the weekend and kept him/her in the sink till we all had a good look)!
