We had pikelets for breakfast and Vaughan was reading on the verandah - all ready to go - long before 7:30am.
To put matters in context, a normal Yowah school day starts at 8:30am and we usually rouse our sleepy boy at around 8:00am. Luckily it is only a short walk/quick bike ride from home to school - or about a two-minute drive.
What's different about Fridays? The whole school (all three students!) are collected from home by their teacher at around 8:00am. They then make the 70km drive to Eulo, where they join the 12 students there for a whole day of technology, health and sport subjects. Today is Vaughan's first visit, so we are hoping it lives up to his expectations!
