Hmmm, I have hunted through our 2000+ pics of Yowah and cannot find decent shots of either the "tangled mess" or "stunning tree", so will work on acquiring those next visit!

Leopardwood
When she was alive, Nick's "lady" had been a leopardwood tree. They have the most beautiful bark and are quite interesting in how they grow, starting out as a tangled mess of thorny green on the ground surface and slowly stretching into a messy (still thorny) shrub before emerging as a stunning tree, often with graceful draped branches.
