Vaughan had been counting sleeps till Nissa's arrival (and tallying them on the yellow chart taped to the door), so there was a fair bit of excitement when only one night remained before we would head down to Bourke!
We spent the morning quietly. Nick's hands were too painful from the previous day's exertions to go digging. I worked inside the house to create space for Nissa's bed and belongings, while Nick worked on organising Elmer for the trip.
After lunch we decided to head into Eulo for more fuel - so as to make a very early departure the next morning.
