After collecting our custom box, Nick organised an appointment with an RV repair/modification business to obtain a quote for having various work done on the Spacevan. The salesman recommended a weight check first and though the camper wasn't fully laden and no longer had internal fridge or external gas bottles fitted, it was very close to it's maximum weight. Drat!
Nick had several weeks of leave booked and there wasn't time to embark on major camper trailer work before our planned departure, so we decided on different kind of road-trip - intending to tackle the Spacevan issues on our return.
