Our departure was brought forward an hour earlier than Nick's estimate, which we were very pleased about!Given it was the start of a long adventure I wore a happy holiday dress, red dust earrings (just in case) and my custom road-trip brooches. As usual, I hadn't thought about getting in and out of Elmer (so was pleased he only has two-inch lift)!
We were only just three hours post departure when we spotted "my" missing "road" sign - together with bonus "long"!! There was huge excitement - and lots of loud appreciation for such an auspicious start to our long road trip!
My first half-a-road-train sign was found in 2020 and the next not-road-half was picked up in 2021.
