From June to September we were house-hunting and moving. A lot of that activity has been posted on Hamby Home(in)stead, which explains why nothing much has happened here!
We had a quick night out to Dalby in early October, which was good practice for a longer trip later in the month. Yep, we have recently returned home after 13 very full days away. The round trip was 2,400km.

Given we intended to spend a few days in Sydney, we drove our smaller car (which is also far more fuel efficient).
Our accommodation was a mix of basic caravan park cabins and motel/hotel rooms. We took our breakfast basket, mug/bowl bags and a small teapot.
I'd made a carry bag for my first baby teapot in June. In September, I found a different pot for $3.00. It is a smaller version of others I take camping, so I chose to use it this trip. (It was quite black inside but cleaned up after some citric acid soaking).
Our ice bricks fit in the freezer compartments easily and we were also able to freeze ice cubes each night. We took two silicone ice-cube trays away with us on our Big Loop trip earlier this year. They worked really well - and we had ice in our drink bottles throughout our travels.
Nick attended a school reunion in Sydney and we thoroughly enjoyed catching up with friends and family during our coastal road-tripping on the way down and back - which was the focus for this holiday.
